Thank you for choosing Mirage AI. Protecting your privacy and the trust you place in us is central to how we design and operate our photo and video generation tools. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
If you do not agree with this Policy, please discontinue use of the Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Mirage AI Terms of Service.

1.1 Account and Contact Information
When you create or manage an account, we collect:

- Email address and authentication details (including identifiers from Apple, Google, or other sign-in providers).
- Billing information, such as payment token identifiers, if you purchase a subscription (handled by Apple App Store).
1.2 Creative Inputs and Outputs
To operate the Service, we process prompts, reference photos or videos, uploaded files, and generated media. We store this content as needed to provide features like history, editing, and collaboration.
1.3 Device and Usage Information
We automatically collect technical data when you access the Service, including:
- Device type, operating system, app version, and browser information.
- IP address, approximate location (based on IP), and system language.
- Diagnostics such as crash logs, performance data, and interaction events.
1.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies
On the web, we use cookies, local storage, and similar tools to remember preferences, maintain sessions, and measure engagement. You can adjust browser settings to limit cookies, but the Service may not function correctly without them.

3. Face Data & Third-Party Sharing
Mirage processes photos you upload, which may contain face data. We do not use this data for identity verification or facial recognition.
Disclosure of Third-Party Access
We share your face data with third-party cloud providers, specifically Google (Gemini) and Kling AI, solely for the purpose of generating the AI image or video you requested.
Retention Policy
- Do third parties store face data? No, our third-party providers do not store your face data long-term.
- How long is data stored? Face data is retained by these third parties only for the duration of the processing session (typically less than 24 hours).
- Why is it stored? The data is stored temporarily in memory solely to perform the computational synthesis required to generate your image or video. Once the generation is complete, the face data is permanently deleted from their servers.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal data based on:
- Performance of a contract (providing the Service you requested).
- Legitimate interests (maintaining and improving the Service, securing infrastructure).
- Consent (marketing communications, optional analytics where required).
- Compliance with legal obligations (responding to lawful requests, tax requirements).
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us operate Mirage AI (cloud hosting, analytics, customer support). These partners access data only to perform services on our behalf and must protect it.
- Third-party integrations you enable (for example, publishing to social platforms). We share the minimal data required to fulfill the integration.
- Legal authorities when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, protect our rights, prevent fraud or abuse, or respond to lawful requests.
- Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale. We will notify you before personal data is transferred.
We do not share your Google or YouTube data with third parties except to provide and support the Service, in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy (including the Limited Use requirements).

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion at any time by contacting contact@getmirageai.com.

We use technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online service is completely secure; please use strong passwords, keep your software updated, and notify us immediately of suspected account compromise.

We operate in the United States and may process data using servers or service providers located in other countries. When transferring personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your rights.

You can revoke Mirage AI's access to your Google or YouTube account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions and disconnect external accounts in the app settings.

Mirage AI is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data without proper consent, contact us so we can remove it.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may include links to or integrations with websites and platforms we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. Review their policies before providing personal information.
12. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know the categories of personal information we collect, use, and disclose, as described in Sections 1–5. You may also request deletion of personal information, subject to exemptions under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
